The Studio Hosting
The National Choreographic Centers have established the framework for a studio hosting program (initiated in 1998) for companies in residence. In Nantes, Ambra Senatore aims for a hosting system defined by a network of partners, allowing artists to work at CCNN but also in other locations. Time for restitution accompanies this mentorship, allowing the public to discover works in progress, a creative process. Six to eight companies per year, including at least two regional ones, benefit from it. Calls for applications are launched once a year. The selection of artists is made in consultation with co-producer or distributor partners.
