Wanjiru Kamuyu is a nomadic artist who has lived on three continents (Africa, Europe, and North America) and has personally experienced issues related to immigration. This solo performance, full of movement, singing, words, and even a bit of stand-up, explores the concepts of home and exile, as well as the gaze of the other. Drawing from an autobiographical testimony, the piece also embraces other destinies. This "story of migrants" collectively becomes an engaged and sensitive echo chamber for all those who have ever had to leave their hometown and/or their country.
